 “olive” for an A/C fitting is a metal insert that forms a seal between the A/C hose and the hose end fitting. For a Dash 8 A/C system, you will need a replacement olive designed for that specific size. The size refers to the hose’s inside diameter, and it corresponds to AN8 (AN is a standard for hose and fittings) and JIC 8 sizing.
