PB 63-72 Trailing Arm X Member is a performance crossmember made by Porterbuilt Fabrication (PBFAB) for 1963–1972 Chevrolet and GMC C10 pickup trucks with a trailing arm rear suspension. It is a popular upgrade for trucks that have been lowered or modified, as it improves suspension geometry and ground clearance.
Adjustable suspension geometry: It features multiple mounting points for the trailing arms, allowing for adjustments to the instant center for improved handling.
Improved ground clearance: The design raises the driveshaft tunnel for more clearance on trucks with a dropped or bagged suspension.
Direct bolt-in installation: The X member is designed to use the factory mounting locations, simplifying installation.
Driveshaft and exhaust compatibility: The crossmember is available in configurations for both one-piece and two-piece driveshafts and can accommodate a 3-inch dual exhaust.
Increased strength: It is constructed from heavy-duty materials, such as 3/16-inch steel, to be stronger and more durable than the factory version.
